Welcome to the website/communication center of the Eastern District of Michigan Chapter of the Federal Bar Association!

Our Chapter is proud to be a leader in the legal community both locally and nationally, and this website helps us bring information to you in the timeliest of manners.  HOT NEWS, in the right hand column, brings recent announcements to your immediate attention and click on EVENTS for all our currently scheduled Seminars and Luncheons. 

In one of our stated objectives, communication with members, the website has exceeded our expectations.  We have valid email addresses for 98% of the members, and we know from feedback we have received from many of you that you appreciate the way we use the twice monthly eBlasts to keep you informed about Chapter events and activities, as well as providing news and infromation from participating Affinity bar organizations.

Another objective of the website is to provide a convenient way for members to register for events and renew membership by credit card.  We have a high level of security (SSL certification) and when you're done, you've got a receipt for your payment.  More and more members are using the website instead of writing checks as this electronic age blooms.  We ask you to give it a try this year!
